I find the quote somewhat offensive but not as much as the response. I will not be using, buying or contributing to anything EAC any more.

I think this went off the rails to another topic or something but back to the point, I find the use of the quote extremely political and no diffusing or excuse or deflection that " I rotate my signatures " holds any rationale for me. I als don't appreciate the condescension of the reply.

It was not my intention to take a political stand among people who know me only slightly and not at all in person, and, had I thought about it, I'd have deleted the quote before posting.
That said, I do believe that the three sure-fire conversation starters are sex, religion, and politics. Here in Massachusetts, we used to be able to get all three into 2 words: "Ted Kennedy." But, de mortuis nil nisi bonum dicendum est. (The original Greek version translates as "Don’t badmouth a dead man.")
