I’m using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and EAC version which is similar as yours but never had such experience. Maybe there’s something missing in your Windows that EAC needs to work properly.

I immediately encountered a problem: whenever EAC needs to open up a File dialog, it crashes. This includes EAC menu->EAC options->Directories tab->Browse , and also Tools->Process Wav.... This happens regardless of whether I start EAC as an Administrator or not. I have not observed any similar problems in any other Windows applications. Is there an obvious fix for this? I am running Windows 7 x64, and I'm using version EAC 1.3 from Septmeber 2016, freshly downloaded from the EAC website. Google does not reveal any obvious answers (though it does suggest others are having the same problem).

I can't seem to find any other references to it in any of the dialogs. (Of course, if it's in "Process Wav...", that would be something I can't get to.)
