RE: Warning error

This happened on all tracks.  I re-ran the extraction and got the same
results.  OS is Windows 10.  Again, I took all the defaults when installing,
including set up. Since I wasn't sure what options to change I figured
defaults would get me started and then I could make changes later.  I did
not install an MP3 decoder or anything other than what came with the EAC
installation file EAC-1.3.exe (I didn't even rename the file, but that
shouldn't make a difference).

Two things I did that may be different are:

1. Disc is ripped to a directory on a NAS network drive
2. I made a change to genre which was blank and I chose progressive rock
from the drop down.  I would assume if it is a drop down choice it shouldn't
cause problems.

Otherwise, I don't believe I did anything unique.  Again I get this warning
as each track is ripped, but the log file says no errors.  My assumption is
that the Wav file is being ripped, but when trying to compress with FLAC it
fails.  A previous response suggested that FLAC may not be installed; I
looked at the EAC directory and there is a FLAC folder with FLAC.exe in it.
How would I run FLAC on the folder with the .Wav files to try and compress
it to see if there is a problem with FLAC?

Is this happening with all tracks or with just the one you used as an 
example? What is your OS?

I used to get the exact same error when extracting both to mp3 and flac. 
Out of a whole album, one or two tracks might fail with that error:

It was sporadic and random, though. I asked about it here to a chorus of 
resounding and total silence. After several years it mysteriously went 
away (I hope!) and I never did find the cause.
