Re[2]: Support (was Warning error)

Hello,

Easy Audio Copy uses a wide variety of sources on the internet (freedb, 
Musicbrainz and GD3 are only some of many metadata providers).
The application will decide for itself which parts of the metadata will 
be used for track titles, CD info, etc. (it might be that some parts are 
of a given provider and other parts of other providers).
It is a very sophisticated algorithmn which compare the information and 
select with a high probability the best information. And it also does 
this for deciding which cover is best (and which covers are different 
ones). Not all metadata providers allow to upload changes, and it may be 
copyright relevant to upload data from a different source to one 
provider - so there is no support for uploading data. If you want to do 
that, you need to do it in EAC (which also doesn't support upload for 
e.g. GD3).

Improving any of the two applications is currently a bit tough, my two 
kids are still small and need most of my free time. Additionally, we 
will move to a new town this year, which need to be prepared (planing, 
renovate, moving, etc.). Therefore I can't invest as much time in the 
applications as I would like.
Anyway, if I find time, I usually spent it on Easy Audio Copy (as I feel 
a bit indebted and the implementation is more current and interesting). 
There are at least 1-2 releases each year, most often to update the 
metadata providers, which sometimes change interfaces, etc. so that some 
provider drops out over time, if not maintained. In fact sales and 
donations are bad (and still decreasing), it is by no means possible to 
make a living (by far).
And I also have many other ideas for applications which I want to write, 
but don't have the time for actually doing them...

Of course I will give full support to users who purchased a license of 
Easy Audio Copy, as this is included in the purchase.
But I also still try to help people writing me directly about Exact 
Audio Copy, if they have problems (even though I should probably 
redirect them to the forum and mailing list).
