We agree:  A FLAC file is, by its nature, compressed.  That’s what the Free Lossless Audio Codec exists for — to compress audio.

(Note:  Andre was correct in pointing out that dbPoweramp produces something they call an uncompressed flac file, but it really isn’t a FLAC file because it’s just a Vorbis Container file with a WAV in it. The FLAC codec isn’t used to encode the audio.)
