And I hope that you don't have to do that. As I said, I don't see anything wrong with your naming convention that would be a show stopper. But I also don't know of any way to batch change all the names if you had to. Let us know what QNAP has to say, if anything, about why things aren't working right.

Thanks for the quick response. I was hoping to not have to manually alter the 1000 or so files and use some utility that allows me to convert these file names.
I would rather, only reluctantly, go down this path in the absence of any alternative.
