character conversion table

Hello --- I ran into issue with a trigger character that eac left in the  output flac file.  
 I see in the eac option for this I can also add any other characters  to the input table 
 

 The screen/option seems imply that these conversion are for the output file name ---  but 
 in the case of  FLAC output   eac launches  flac.exe and passes all the option on the command 
 line.  -- so does the conversion table also would translate  character for any of the TAG that are 
 passed on the command line?  Thanks
