The agreement protects Yahoo, not me. If I were to hand over the entire list of addresses to some third party, be it groups.io <http://groups.io/> or Nigerian spammers, I would be legally liable.
More important than the legal liability issue is the ethical issue. It would be unethical for me to provide any member email address to groups.io <http://groups.io/> (or any third party) without the express consent of the person who ‘owns’ that email address. Therefore, I won’t do it.
