That is interesting. When I was working in a computer-support capacity, we
had numerous occasions where one or another application would simply not
work for a user, but would work just fine in a different user profile.
Troubleshooting a profile is almost impossible, especially after they
become corrupted in some subtle way. Switching the user to a new profile
was often the only solution short of reinstalling Windows on a fresh hard
drive.

You can run EAC by holding down the shift key, right-clicking the icon, and
choosing "Run as different user". This will actually launch EAC using the
other user profile. You don't have to log in as the other user (although
you'll need to provide the password if there is one).

But I would caution you that you might find other programs eventually begin
to behave in odd ways in your current profile, not because you run EAC, not
because you use a different profile for doing so, but because something
about your current user profile is no longer "clean". Just keep in mind
that you might be on borrowed time in Windows-land.
