EAC does not find CD anymore

Dear all,
I have been using EAC for years without poblems.
Now, after some time, I wanted to copy a CD again and EAC does not
recognize the CD anymore...



/System:/
- Windows 10 (64-bit) 2004
- EAC 1.5

/Tests carried out:/
- Same problem for older EAC versions (e.g. 1.1).
- Same problem upon starting EAC via "EAC.exe -nocdtext -nomultisession"
- Opening the CD tray from EAC is working neither (opening the CD tray
from the Windows Explorer is working).
- Drive description is not displayed (I think it was displayed when
extracting was working)




- Playback of the CD using another program (VLC) is working nicely.
- Removing and reinstalling EAC did not change anything...

Does anybody has any more ideas where to look for the problem?
