Not sure from your description exactly what you are trying to do. All music on a CD is .wav format; EAC is used to rip a CD to a compressed digital audio format that can be stored and played on various devices. EAC has functionality to download data about the CD such as artist, track title, etc., if the CD is contained in their database. To use this you download the metadata. If it is a commercially available CD and someone entered the data you can download this without having to manually enter; if you created the CD yourself then you will need to enter the data yourself and EAC has limited abilities for manual entry, but there are other programs that can help you there. They are all in .wav format. I ran the cd through 'easy audio copy' and it comes up 'unknown artist'. Is there any software that would help me to identify the songs by name and artist. Im unfamiliar with code or command writing. Thanks
