No, your second statement is correct: the flac.exe (or flac.dll, it's been
so long that I forget which is used) writes FLAC tags, and that's all. EAC
doesn't try to meddle with that. I didn't uncheck anything, that was the
default: if you're making FLAC files, EAC will create them with only FLAC
tags.
