Unfortunately, I used ISO loosely regarding Audio CDs. Audio CDs do not use
the ISO, or UDF, file sytem formats.
That said, the ImgBurn program (free) can make bit-for-bit copies of audio
CDs. Instead of a .ISO file, it creates a .BIN file, a .CDT support file
and a .CUE file. By doing the audio CD copy procedure, you can usually tell
if there are bad sectors that might cause issues with audio CD ripping
programs.

While you can most certainly take WAV files and build an audio CD, it will not
be a bit-for-bit copy of the original audio CD, even in the same audio tracks
are used in the same order. You are forgetting that there can be CD-TEXT,
CD+G and CD+EG data.
One last thing... technically audio CDs do not have sectors, they have frames.
And yes, over time they are being called sectors.

So, in conclusion, using ImgBurn to make a copy of the CD would be a good
way to determine if there are issues with the media. Hopefully the OP's
disc is not one of those that has purposely damaged areas on the disc so
that it can't be copied. See the above link for copy protection attempts.
