You can get a 128GB USB 3.1 flash drive at Micro Center for $9.99. That’s 5x the storage of a BD-R disc and it can be rewritten thousands of times. Unlike DVD drives, Blu-Ray drives are relatively uncommon on personal computers, making BD-R discs unappealing as data distribution media. I personally don't. I use HDDs, lots of them. The OP appears to use DVDs for storage. BDs store more.
