BD drives are significantly more expensive here (Netherlands). 2A. Similarly, BD discs here are not significantly cheaper than DVD-Rs in terms of cost per GB. 2B. That said, only requiring 1 disc instead of 5 or 20 is of course very nice in terms of space savings. 2C. But BD's cost per GB is still hideous compared to standard hard drives. 3. Also, no one I know uses BD discs and/or players. In other words: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." --Martin
