I have a few iPod Classics, including one that I converted to 512GB flash, =
that I use with ALAC in my vehicles. There it=E2=80=99s the iPod playing t=
he file, rather than the head unit. It works well in my 2010 Infiniti G37X=
because the iPod takes care of the database of artists, albums, tracks, co=
ver art, etc. If you just put in a flash drive, the car=E2=80=99s head uni=
t has a Flintstone=E2=80=99s era interface.
In my Nissan Titan XD, I also use an iPod Classic. It=E2=80=99s got other =
options, like Bluetooth, aux input, etc. but the iPod=E2=80=99s always ther=
e and ready with my music library.
