Hi, I'm trying to find the length of m4a files, ALAC specifically, using ecalength. However, *ecalength <filename>* returns a time of 0.000 for the file. I can assure you that the file exists, is playable in my Ubuntu 10.10 box and that it is a few minutes long. The version of Ecasound in the repo, the one which I have installed, is 2.7.0. I also tried "uncommenting" the lines relating to AAC in the ecasoundrc file without success. I'd appreciate it if someone would help me with this issue.
