I've successfully recorded audio from QEMU via ALSA loopback device connected to JACK via alsa_in client, following this guide: http://alsa.opensrc.org/Jack_and_Loopback_device_as_Alsa-to-Jack_bridge I use ecasound to record via JACK, it doesn't need to know the ports it's connected to are routed from a virtual ALSA device.
