Is it possible to use Pyecasound (pyeca) to connect to an already running
Ecasound server?
At the moment I’m starting it from inside Python using:
os.environ['ECASOUND'] = '/usr/bin/ecasound --server'
eca = ECA_CONTROL_INTERFACE(2) # # debug level (0,
1, 2, ...)
I'd rather have ecasound start as a daemon and use python to connect to it.
It’s not super important if it’s not possible, just wondering… ;-).
thanks,
Sjoerd
