Is it possible to add a chain operator by index, or replace a chain
operator with another? I need to be able to retain the order of which
things are set inside of each chain, preferably without removing and
remaking the entire chain again.

For example, I have two sine waves here each being outputted to separate
channels:
ecasound -rtlowlatency -z:mixmode,avg -f 8,2,882000 -a:1,2 -i rtnull -a:1
-f 8,2,882000 -el:sine_fcac,300,1 -epp:0  -a:2 -f 8,2,882000
-el:sine_fcac,800,1 -erc:1,2 -epp:100 -a:1,2 -f 8,2,882000 -o stdout
