I have the Old Lady and I seem to recall that there are different versions on the install disc. Some are 16 bit, some are 24 bit. I don't remember for sure, but there may even be aif versions and wav versions of the samples. Make sure the instruments you copied to the HD correspond with the samples you have copied to the HD. It's likely the instrument is pointing to a different version of the samples than you have on the HD. Double check.
