"Holes" in drum kits?

Hello Everybody,

Please be so kind and tell me: are there gaps between the different parts of
drum kits in EXS-24? I mean - when I recently loaded one of the kits I found
that some of the keys do not sound while both the adjacent ones do. Is it
the way it should be or there's something wrong with my EXS?
