Maybe you're referring to drum loops and/or musical phrases.
In such cases you may do better to convert the files to Apple Loops - 
then they will adjust to your tempo.

EXS24 is a sampler and will simply reproduce the samples - changing 
pitch will obviously slow down or speed up the files, but I'm sure 
that's not what you want.
