Free Ebow Textures from Bolder Sounds

Also posted is a Free sound set as well for the EXS called Ebow  
Textures.

I’ve always loved playing the guitar with an Ebow and always thought  
it would make for a great sampling collection. I used it a little bit  
on the Granular Collection I created back in 1997. It was a project  
which I kept putting on the “back burner” as they say.

I do not actually own this collection, yet I’ve checked out the demos  
with great evny. I think these guys at SonicCourtre have really done  
a beautiful job on this.

The Bolder Free set was created with an Ebow (energy bow) a Fender  
Squier (a knock-off of a
Gibson 335) and a Roland GT8 multi effects unit. The use of effects  
is an integral part of the resultant samples.

This sound set uses 5 different sample “textures” which I created by  
using a bouncing and sliding effect on the open strings of the guitar.
Even though these “textures” may seem a bit atonal in nature, with a  
couple of them you can actually voice chords in the traditional manner.
