It might seem like a bit high of an initial cost if all you need is a few mapped up drums, but in case you're working with samplers on OSX (this isn't only valid for the EXS as most other samplers read/import the EXS mappings fine) and doing your own patches, Keymap is almost like a must, especially as it comes with some destructive mangling options that are beyond belief.
