Crossfading and Wave Mixing via LFO with EXS24

Is there any way to crossfade between sample sets using an LFO? I am building layered, 
electronica-based drum kits, with different treatments, and I want to use an LFO to switch 
between samples sets. I also want to apply this method to do wave mixing. I know how to do 
round robin, and to use the mod wheel to do switching, but I'd like to use the LFOs. I've also 
tried this with Kontakt 2, but to no avail.
