Hi Fellow EXS Users, I have lots of songs that were created in earlier versions of Logic where I sequenced tracks on external midi instruments which I no longer have. I now use EXS instruments for drums, bass, piano, and strings to start with. They're all set up that way in my Autoload template. When I open an older song in LP8, I import my settings and environment from my autoload song, but none of my EXS instruments remember their settings from the autoload song. I have to reset all my instruments the way I want them. This is especially a headache with the multi output instrument I use for drums. When I start a new song with a new Autoload template, all the instruments are set up the way they were when I last saved the song. But if I open an older song and import settings and environment, none of those instrument settings are recalled. Is there a way to make each of the instruments I've set up in my autoload song recall their settings when they're imported?
