Here is a work around - just hit record, move your mod wheel around, stop
record, open the event editor, delete all but one of the mod wheel control
events. Change its value to 127. Move it to the start of the bar. Change the length
of the bar to 1note (1/4 of a bar) and loop it infinitely. On the GPO track,
make two tracks for the same midi channel, and put that infinite loop on one of
them. (Assuming you are using a single midi channel).
A number of people on the LUG were talking about wiring schemes to use the 8
midi channels of the GPO and other Kontact players. Its a hassle each time and
I didn't get it to work right, so screw it. I believe in KISS (Keep it simple
stupid). I just do a new instance and one midi channel at a time.
I agree with Sasha that Logic needs some work. He always seem to gripe about
things bitterly, but he seems to be right, and no only that, one of the few
people who, like me, expect a $1000 program to be a superior piece of software,
not a "work-around, work in progress".
