First thing I would try is :
1. Is USB cable secured at both ends (computer and AMT)
2. open Audio/Midi utility and see that its there.
I recently had a problem where my A/D was not getting into logic. I tried
everything and finally discovered the cable had come lose at the back of the rack
unit.
