[LUG] Re:[OT] iTunes MP4s

Hi All,

	I appreciate the passion surrounding this issue.  I hope some 
of you follow this topic to The OT list to see the result.

	I have spoken with reps from ASCAP and BMI this morning and 
they both confirmed that using legally downloaded material to play 
during my band's breaks is covered under the usage license that the 
venue pays for.

	In other words, it's the same as when my band plays cover 
tunes.  The country club or hotel pay a license fee to BMI or ASCAP 
for us to use the material.  I'm legit!

	Now that the legal matter is settled, I'm going to go on to 
try the technical work around that you guys suggested to import the 
MP4s to Logic via a dump to CD as AIFF files.  :-)
