The Hit Kit!!! (Need Help)

Ok,I just bought the hitkit,and Im having trouble recording,I read a bit of
the manual and it says to click on the "R" button next to the "M" The
problem is that there is no "R" next to the "M" Just the M is there by
itself withouot anything else. Can anybody help me please? If you have AIM
