Message posted by Robert Eyerman <[email protected]>: I don't know much about PC hardware. I bought Spin-it Again software to record old LPs to CDs. I hooked up a turntable to a stereo receiver. I connected the receiver thru the tape/rec (RCA) ports to a PC audio-in (1/8" mini plug) port. The software says it is hearing only one channel. Only one PC speaker will play the turntable. I am pretty sure the turntable and receiver are working OK. If I reverse the RCA connections, the PC still receives only one channel. The software says I could buy a Creative Extigy external sound card. Does anyone know about the Creative Extigy? Is there anything less expensive I could get? If I bought something from Ebay, should there be software with it? Any help would be appreciated. ________________________________________________________________________ Logic OT - new web forums! http://logic-users.org/forums/L-OT - Search the entire archive: http://logic-users.org/forums/L-OT/search - To UNSUBSCRIBE: email [email protected] Yahoo!
