logic hit kit windows xp

i recently  installed  the hit kit / logic     to my windows xp 
comp  ,  everything worked  fine    but weneva  i try to record  my 
first  track     it stops  after about   10 to 15  seconds     giving  
a pop up  sayin  ERROR WHILE TRYING TO SYNCHRONIZE  AUDIO AND MIDI     
and  it   says at the bottom  SAMPLE RATE RECOGNIZED   with  some 
numbers written  below it.   WOULD SOMEONE PLEAZE HELP  AS THIS  IS 
REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME  OF  AND I HAVE   BEEN GETTING THIS  
PROBLEM  FOR ABOUT A WEEK NOW ,plus  iv  not got a lot of comp  
knoledge    so   please get bk in proper english     and  not  computer 
lingo   thankyou
