My Tr-Rack isn't responding to a sysex dump?

I am able to trigger the TR-Rack via MIDI. I'm playing notes etc as 
normal. I can also record the sysex multi dump from the TR-Rack into 
Logic. But when I play the sysex dump from Logic the TR-Rack does 
nothing. Usually it says 'MIDI dump now recieving data' or something 
close to that.
I have used the 'preload' function and the initialise function. Still 
not working.

The fact that I am able to trigger the TR-Rack means I have a working 
MIDI in connection. The fact that I am able to record the TR-Racks 
sysex dump to my computer sequencer (Logic) means I have a working MIDI 
out connection.

Any ideas why I the TR-Rack is not responding to sysex dumps?
Is there a further initialisation procedure? I may be imagining it but 
I seem to remember pressing and holding a few buttons simultaneously 
including the 'reset' button.
