[LUG] [OT] Anything I shoudl know before I bootup and install Logic 8

After putting it off for much too long, I finally broke down and got a MAC....anyway....
 
Is there anything I should should know before it arrives and I unpack it, and install Logic? This machine will probably only be used  for Logic (and Fusion for Windows).
 
Anything I should know to get the optimum Logic experiance?
