Hi Bob (and forum) Would love your (and anyone's) input on what core audio device seems to work well (sound quality, cost effective, I/O options) and what your hookups are. I have PT HD2 with a 192 and an 888/24 hooked up to the legacy Port (although that will likely change as I drop live drums in favor of BFD! - I'm buying a condo) How do people usually feed the core audio back into Logic/TDM? This decision would end my need for the DTDM compatibility that seems so hard to come by ( I have it but I'm stuck at 10.3.9, Logic &, and PT 6.9) and would pave the way for me to upgrade to Tiger, a G5 (from a g4) and move to Logic 8 with PT 4 - THEN my computer would be faster than me again! I would greatly appreciate any comments about working setups with core audio piped back into a 192, including specific hookup info and success stories. For example, would my entire Virtual Inst library (now on DTDM) work using core audio? Does a core audio interface hookup using a card slot? Thanks for all info Greg On Dec 31, 2007, at 12:07 PM, Bob DeMaa wrote: > I concur. I bailed on DTDM years ago and got a dedicate Core Audio > interface to feed into Pro Tools.
