Thats true, but I need PT because I do alot of film sound design,  
which  really has to get done in PT for many reasons. When I compose,  
though, I like Logic. I used DTDM successfully up until recently,  
when something broke, I think as a result of L8 being incompatible  
with my TDM rig. Logic quits on me as soon as the "Initializing DTDM"  
message comes up.

Anyway, I can't use Core Audio unless I buy a Core Audio interface.  
And I may do that, but I'm frustrated that this doesn't work, because  
it's advertised as working, and that means it should work...

naive, I know...
