Don¹t bother with the mix system.  The OS requirements are handicapping, no
rtas virtual instruments, hard to find viable plugins, VI¹s and other
software too (I couldn¹t even BUY Quicktime Pro) , etc Picking up a Digi
0002 with an apogee Rosetta 200 and a decent G5 is a better option.  Once
you are there you don¹t really need Logic unless you are James Newton
Howard.  Protools 7.4 is a totally viable sequencer for 95% of the people.
