Using Logic 8 with Digidesign 192 HD3-recording latency

Hi everyone,

This is the first time I've needed to post, so I'm hoping someone can help.

I use Logic 8 with Core Audio accessing my Digidesign HD3 hardware. 

It's running great, except for the massive latency when trying to record
vocals.

If anyone has this issue, or knows a solution, please let me know.

I really appreciate it, and I depend on this forum.
