Logic Pro 8/I PTHD3/ and Aurora 16

I just installed PTHD3 (PT 7.4) cards into my G5 Quad and am using an Aurora
16 for converters.   I had to remove my Apogee Symphony card with 16ADX &
16DAX converters  to fit the PTHD3 cards in.   In addition to using PT for
sessions I want to continue to use Logic Pro 8 and access my 16 Aurora I/Os
via the Digi interface.    LP8 will only recognize 8 of my Aurora I/Os.    I
really need all 16.    I must be missing something!   Any help is greatly
appreciated,
