MIDI interfaces

Hey all a little OT but I would love your advice. I am finally mothballing
my old Legacy TDM Rig and it just occurred to me my midi interface will have
to switch too. I am currently using a serial emagic Unitor, and have thought
about finding a USB Version of the same but realize that there may be a
driver issue with that.  What does everyone else use Digidesign Midi i/o? 
Motu Midi timepiece?  I'd love some advice on the tightest most stable USB 8
port or more midi interface.  Thanks!!
