Nick, are you saying AudioMIDIsetup gets confused on not seeing the interface on bootup then creates another copy when the Unitor is powered up? Regarding purchasing a new interface, I've never seen this issue on my McIntel with Logic 8 installed on a fresh system, so I think clean-installing both the OS and Logic is better than replacing a perfectly working interface... Just MHO...
