doesn't matter - the only point in soloing an empty track is so you can  
hear the loop if you have AUDIO/MIDi already recorded - so solo  
whatever gives you the silence you need to hear the loop - as long as  
it's in "play" it should work. Let me know if it does!

And I don't mean solo button - I mean solo an empty track in the  
arrange page.
