For me to audition apple loops from within the loops browser I have to drag an apple loop to the arrange page, make sure it's selected then open the sample editor and play it in there. Once I have done that the loop editor works as it should. I was hoping 8.02 would have rectified this problem. I recently re-installed Logic to see if I could fix it that way but no joy.
