problems with spectrasonics stylus RMX not triggering properly in Groove mode

Hi all! Anyone get this? In groove mode and using multi timbral kits, the
loops periodically trigger in the wrong place.  It's like a sampler starting
the sample at the wrong point in the bar rather than when it is drawn in the
matrix edit window. Whilst in slice mode it's fine, in groove mode (really
useful when you need to quickly organise a kit with fills & other patterns
using backbeat etc.) this happens. The really infuriating thing is that it
doesn't happen in any consistent way!! aaaaggh - please help!
