Well Logic 8 also  requires also requires Protools 7 and later and os  
10.4x and later none of which work with a mix era (mix core or d24)  
protools system. Honestly you will get more horsepower by using a  
native motu (828, 896 or 2408) interface and LP 7 0r 8.
