Using Core Audio with 828 Mk 1 as an output on 5.1 movie projects ........... all works happilly ....... do you have the correct MOTU application running? I have Mac OS 10.5.4 running on MacPro 8 Core 3 ghz 10 gig Logic 8.2 828 Mk1 Joe Meek Twin Q Optical Stereo D/A. Bowers and Wilkins monitors SADLY - HAVE TO REPORT NO LONG RUNNING WITH TDM. I'm doing my first 5.1 movie score away from digidesign hardware and LOVING every minute. 5.1 Orchestra recording is done out of my studio but all solo instruments recorded here with addition of PLAY / Kontakt 3 samples etc. Scary at first but guys (& anyone noticed the total lack of females here?) - the latency is not as bad as you may think & I'm running hundreds of tracks of stuff .... no tiny phase problems as a result of bouncing 5.1 ..... & the beauty of using 5.1 interleaved files rather than using 60 audio channels/tracks on the page to simply get 10 different parts of a cue playing on the same arrange window is pure heaven. IT WORKS!!!! (& THE AUDIO QUALITY IS THERE NOW TOO) Best to all Richard ------------------------------------ ________________________________________________________________________ Logic TDM Users Group - new forums! http://logic-users.org/forums/L-TDM - To UNSUBSCRIBE: email [email protected] - Search the entire archive: http://logic-users.org/forums/L-TDM/searchYahoo!
