Carry over L7 template to L8-or start fresh?

Hi All,
 
 I carried over my Logic 7  Template (from PPC) to Logic 8 (Intel)...made a few adjustments and sorted out Key Commands.  Works pretty well but for a few quirks.

Just wondering if most of you built new Autoload/Template from scratch when switching over to L8?
With all of the DAE tracks and stem bussing and pc slaves coming in, as well as all the core instruments/tracks/fx,  the template is very large. 
Anyone experience problems with L7 template in L8?
