Hi You beautiful logic TDM faithful people!

I took the plunge against my probably better judgement and upgraded my old dual 2.7 PPC to Leopard, after seeing the wonder that is protools 8 (it really is amazing to behold - almost as lovely as logic!!)

All seemed to be ok in Logic (apart from losing my waves reset - doh!), apart from an ongoing automation issue which occasionally kicks in where volumes inexplicably drop or raise without warning (any ideas anyone?)

But then I tried to use Waveburner for a mastering job i was given. Beach ball of death and no way would it use TDM hardware. I had to go native instead which is obviously very annoying and sonically inferior.

Is the problem going to Leopard (i'm on 10.5.8)
or is the problem my updated digi software to go with Protools 8?

Any help / ideas would be most gratefully received

Best regards,
Russ at the CD clinic.
