Hello everyone:

I am new to the user group (just registered today). So please forgive me if my questions

I am a recent convert to Mac. I bought myself a MacBook Pro and have already fallen in love with it. My next big move is going from PC-based ProTools to Mac-based Logic (on a working engineer/friend's recommendation). The budget going forward, however, is a little tight. Therefore, I have two questions re: Logic Express 9 that I'm having a hard time finding answers to-

1) Can Logic Express 9 eventually be upgraded to Logic Studio 9 for a lower price, or would I have to spend the whole $400-500 on a full version?

2) Propellerhead's website states that ReWire works with GarageBand and Logic, though it makes no specific mention of Logic Express. Will I be able to slave Reason to Logic Express using ReWire?

Thanks for you help in advance.

Tom
